Andrew Wilson
I use wood and fire to make bold, organic art.
My one-of-a-kind wooden earrings quickly become people's favorites because they’re naturally lightweight and catch the eye.
My high-voltage woodburnings are a unique art form that harnesses a force of nature to create nature-inspired art. As the electricity searches for the most conductive path through the wood, it carves charred branching patterns. I then bring the woodburnings to life with acrylic paint.
I also create hanging sculptures that can enliven any space. I make my mobiles out of charred wood, where the black color creates wonderful contrast with the blank white ceilings of our homes.
