This Valentine's Day, Pittsboro Gallery of Arts is thrilled to host a special Pop-In Coffee with celebrated Saori-certified weaving artist, Dawn Hummer. Join us on February 14th at the gallery for a heartwarming Valentine's Day celebration of love and creativity! Dawn will lead a hands-on exhibition where you can watch and learn about weaving or dive into the creative process and make your own twined willow/vine woven heart—a unique piece perfect for adorning your door or wall. Dawn Hummer, owner of Wildflower Woven Design, creates unique woven art pieces by blending traditional patterns with unconventional materials. Her pieces are characterized by simplicity and sustainability, employing fibers like linen, silk, bamboo, metals, and other found materials.
