Join us for an Evening Where Poetry and Art Unite!
Join us on the evening of May 3rd, from 6 to 9 pm for a unique journey that bridges the worlds of art and poetry. On this evening, we will unveil a live collaboration between twenty-one poets from the North Carolina Black Socks Poetry Society and the talented artists of our Pittsboro Gallery of Arts.
Through the marriage of verse and artwork, we invite you to explore the emotions, narratives, and inspirations woven into the pieces displayed in our gallery. The poets from the North Carolina Black Socks Poetry Society will read their poems inspired by specific works of our art. Together, they aim to bridge the gap between poetry and visual art, offering viewers a fresh interpretation and appreciation of art in all its forms.
Parking is plentiful in the gravel lot behind our gallery, with the entrance located off the courthouse circle in Pittsboro.
