I am an artist of both the visual and the tactile.  Vibrancy of color and contrast melts into my expression of feelings from encounters of life, the exploration, the mystery and the discovery within.  The focused meditation of creating art is the grounding that carries me through the many ups and downs of each day.  Time stands still as my curiosity in creativity overflows into my clay or onto my canvas.

My exploration in clay is a complete absorption of mind, body and emotion.
I love the total focus creating a oneness with my art.  My hands sink into the wet earth with ideas, and soon the clay takes over with its own expression. Glazing pieces with choice colors is an additional stroke from the heart.

The sight and feel of pottery intersects life at every turn. My functional pieces are food, oven and microwave safe for all tables.  This allows an individual’s complete satisfaction to be enjoyed and encountered at everyday rituals of eating and nesting.  The usual expands into delight in the warm interaction between self and creativity from the earth. I love sharing this experience with other lovers of art, our patrons.

I strive to compliment, as well as augment, oursteps through existence with a touch of the earth mother’s grounding in her natural elements to become a part of your home.

I work out of my cozy ceramic studio with visits by appointment.
